If having a speed of 100Mbps wasn’t enough to tempt those speed junkies out there, maybe the RM179 / month price will. At those prices, TIME Fibre Home Broadband comes up cheapest for broadband plans in Malaysia above 10Mbps, slaying TM’s Unifi, Astro’s own Time-provided IPTV broadband, and guys like Maxis and P1.

The real downer here is that there is a data quota (!) of 100GB, while that certainly is enough for more people, for serious HD movie lovers, online gamers and downloaders that quota can be very easily chewed up, especially with the supposed 100Mbps speed. The other point of contention is that the service is not yet available to landed properties (supposedly coming within the next 12 months), so the service is stuck to businesses and high rise buildings for now.
